Daily Blog - December 30, 2009

Played a little bit last night. Leveled my first aid to 225 for my Warlock and then started upgrading his gear. Read up a little yesterday on what stats the Warlock is supposed to have and I was doing it the wrong way previously. I was focusing on Intel and Spirit when I should have been focusing on Stamina instead of Spirit. So no I'm changing my gear accordingly and trying to find stuff "of the Eagle" instead of "of the Owl." Some of the items out there are way to expensive though so I've been having to create some stuff with my other alts. So far I've made/bought:

Big Bronze Knife - +3 Stamina
Thick Bronze Necklace - +3 Stamina
Double-Stitched Woolen Shoulders - +5 Stamina
Forest Cloak - +3 Stamina, +2 Intellect
Blue Overalls - +4 Stamina
Greater Magic Wand - just better than the one I had before

The rest of my armor is good enough I believe. I will then need to create 2 rings. Then I should be ready to get to level 20.

I also went ahead and got my Hunter his elephant yesterday since he is already at level 20. I could do the same for my Paladin since he's at level 20 as well but I currently don't have enough gold.

Daily Blog - December 28, 2009

Got a lot accomplished over the extended holiday weekend. Finished leveling my mage to 20 and bought his mount. Then started working on my Warlock (Dotsmadafiv). Leveled cooking and fishing to 225 and am currently leveling first aid which is at 212. Now need more gold to buy mageweave cloth so waiting on some auctions to sell. After that it'll be time to upgrade my gear and level my Warlock to 20.

Daily Blog - December 21, 2009

I played over the weekend and was able to get my Mage's first aid to 225 and update his armor. I will need to make sure I have all the necessary potions and whatnot to start my journey to lvl 20. I also went ahead and leveled my sword, hand-to-hand, staff and dagger skills to 90 by beating up some softies in the starting area. I know I won't be using many weapons with my Mage but thought it best to go ahead and level up those skills. I think I will be doing the same with my other characters as well to make sure I have all my leveled to the max. Tonight I may play some more. Hopefully the copper I've put on the auction house provides me with enough gold so I can buy a silver bar. I need it to make a ring for my mage.

Daily Journal - December 15, 2009

It's been about 3 months since my last blog entry. I've recently had to clear off my hard drive and reinstall WoW so I think I'm about ready to jump back into it all. Won't be today though, maybe tomorrow. I have downloaded all my addons as well. The lengthy and tedius part will be to fix all my bars again and put everything where I want them. After that's all done then I'll start leveling my Mage once again. I have to do first aid to 225 then level him to 20 so I can get my mount. Maybe I'll have some time to really get into things over the holiday weeks. I know my wife is interested in getting back to her characters as well.

Daily Blog - September 15, 2009

If anyone reads my blog, I know I haven't written in a couple of weeks. I actually haven't been playing WoW. I'm currently watching football or blue-ray movies so I'm taking a little break. I will continue blogging once I start playing again.....

Daily Journal - September 4, 2009

Name: Dotsmadafor
Class: Mage
Professions: Enchanter & Inscriptionist

I only worked sparingly last night as the booze was calling my name once again at the Inn in Old Town. I was slightly productive as I leveled my knowledge of first aid to 213. I am almost to my goal of 225. I also learned the art of making a mage weave bandage although it was very expensive (over 5 gold!). Now I need to obtain some mage weave cloth from the auction house. My friend Dotsmadathre has informed me that it is not cheap and that he would be willing to gather more copper for me to subsidize my purchase of mage weave cloth. I took him up on the offer so hopefully tonight he will be able to gather some copper once again. 'Thre is such a nice fellow. Of course, if he would like his supplies enchanted and scrolls stocked I suppose this is the least he can do. Good day to you.....

Daily Journal - September 3, 2009

Name: Dotsmadafor
Class: Mage
Profession: Enchanting, Inscription

Last night I convinced my friend Dotsmadathre to go gather stones for me to sell at the auction house. He was very successful, as I knew he would be, and gathered probably around 100 copper bars on my behalf. He mailed them off to our current trader, Dotsmadaeit, who put them up for auction for about 2 gold a stack. After a few stacks sold 'Eit bought me some more silk cloth so I could raise my first aid expertise. I am looking to increase my skill for first aid to 225, but unfortunately I ended up running out of silk cloth and only reached skill level 190 or so. I was very excited to learn the new bandage technique of heavy silk though. I will use this technique until I reach skill level 210. At that point (I believe) I should be able to learn how to make mage weave bandages. Tonight the rest of the copper bars should have sold so 'Eit should be able to purchase more silk cloth for me. For now I will rest until tomorrow night. Maybe I will get in a game of cards with some patrons at the Stormwind inn......

Daily Journal - September 2, 2009

Name: Dotsmadafor
Class: Mage
Professions: Enchanting, Inscription

I spent time last night relaxing on the beach of Lake Everstill in the town of Lakeshire catching catfish and frogs. I have honed my fishing skills and now I have earned the Artisan expertise. Once I reached this great achievement I went into the Lakeshire inn and had a merry time celebrating. I will sleep in tomorrow and possibly tomorrow night I will then work on becoming a artisan first aider. Of course, as I am a Mage, I really have no natural ability to heal myself except for making food. Eating just takes way too much time though. I am afraid that I will need more coin in my pockets though as after learning to become and Artisan Fisherman I have only 20 silver to my name. I would like to go to the auction house in Stormwind and purchase my materials to become an Artisan in First Aid, instead of going to kill humanoids. Mayhap I will check with my friend Dotsmadathre, who is a valiant Warrior, to see if he can make me money by collecting minerals. He is usually generous and happy to crack rocks on my behalf, so I see no problems there.

Until tomorrow......

Daily Blog - August 31, 2009

My Mage was able to get his cooking to 225 and fishing to 190 over the weekend. Spent only about 30 minutes fishing. I will be doing more of this tonight although it is really boring......

Meet Dotsmadanin, my Beast Master Hunter....

I can definitely see why people enjoy leveling with a Hunter. He's super easy and fun to play. The only problem I usually have is running out of mana after continuously killing mobs. I suppose he deserves a break now and then.... Here are his stats:

Level - 20
Strength - 34
Agility - 79
Stamina - 50
Intellect - 36
Spirit - 40
Armor - 567
Jewelcrafting - 155
Skinning - 150
Fishing - 150
Cooking - 150
First Aid - 150

My Hunter makes all my jewelry for my alts and is also my main leather farmer. I've concentrated his stats on Agility and Stamina. He ranks # 2 in Agility behind my Rogue and is ranked # 3 overall. Love playing this guy.

Meet Dotsmadaeit, my Enhancement Shaman....

My Shamy is not a bad character to play. I like his totems and he also can heal himself. The last time I played him I don't think I died at all. He's a good survivor. His stats are:

Level - 18
Strength - 44
Agility - 29
Stamina - 54
Intellect -46
Spirit - 43
Armor - 862
Skinning - 30
Mining - 102
Fishing - 150
Cooking - 150
First Aid - 150

My Shamy is just a gatherer since I ran out of professions (no need to do more than one profession with my characters). I've concentrated most of his stats in Stamina, Strength and Intellect. He is also got a great armor class as well since I use a shield with him. He ranks # 6 overall.

Meet Dotsmadasev, my Shadow Priest....

My Priest is actually one of my favorite players to play. As long as I don't have too many mobs on top of me I can survive pretty well. It's fun to attack and almost die, then heal yourself and keep attacking. If you time it right you will never die eventhough your super squishy. Here are his stats:

Level - 18
Strength - 23
Agility - 31
Stamina - 30
Intellect - 57
Spirit - 63
Armor - 262
Alchemy - 150
Herbalism - 75
Fishing - 150
Cooking - 150
First Aid - 150

My Priest has the fun (sarcasm) job of Alchemy which is probably my least favorite profession. I really dislike gathering herbs. The auction house has the prices of herbs too high if you can find them so I usually have to go out and farm them myself. That's the reason why I changed my Rogue over to Herbalism. The potions made though are very helpful to all my characters. As a magic user all of his stats are in Intellect and Spirit. He is my # 1 ranked character in Spirit. He ranks # 8 overall.

Meet Dotsmadasix, my Balance Druid....

This is probably my least favorite character. It just is not that exciting changing into a bear. It's a Warrior with less options. When I get the cat form, it will be a Rogue with less options. Not very fun to me. I hear the Druid shines more when he is further along, but I guess we'll see. Here are his stats:

Level - 18
Strength - 29
Agility - 48
Stamina - 35
Intellect - 45
Spirit - 52
Armor - 453
Leather - 150
Skinning - 120
Fishing - 150
Cooking - 180
First Aid - 150

My Druid is pretty much middle of the pack in all stat categories. He is my Leatherworker so he makes armor kits for all my alts, but that's about it. As I said, pretty boring character. He ranks #7 overall.

Meet Dotsmadafiv, my Demonology Warlock.....

My Warlock is fairly simple to play as I just sick my minion on the mobs and just pound on him from afar. Here are his stats:

Level - 18
Strength - 25
Agility - 28
Stamina - 44
Intellect - 61
Spirit - 60
Armor - 265
Mining - 84
Tailoring - 150
Fishing - 152
Cooking - 150
First Aid - 150

Much like my Mage I've concentrated most of my Warlock's stats in Intellect and Spirit which he is ranked #2 in both. He also makes my bags and cloth armor for my squishy characters. He's ranked #5 overall out of my 9 total characters.

Meet Dotsmadafor, my Frost Mage.....

This is my Frost Mage. He's pretty entertaining to play as long as I don't run into multiple mobs. Here are his stats:
Level - 18
Strength - 22
Agility - 23
Stamina - 32
Intellect - 68
Spirit - 52
Armor - 281
Enchanting - 150
Incription - 150
Fishing - 157
Cooking - 161
First Aid - 150
As you can see, I've stacked all of his stats in Intellect and Spirit. He is number one in intellect out of all of my alts, but ranks as my least most powerful character. He is very important though as he enchants all my gear and creats scrolls for all my other players. I enjoy playing him.

Meet Dotsmadathre, me Protection Warrior....

This is my bad ass Warrior. I really enjoy playing him and just finished leveling him to 20. Here are his stats:

Level - 20
Strength - 67
Agility - 55
Stamina - 84
Intellect - 23
Spirit - 31
Armor - 1,525
Blacksmith - 150
Mining - 100
Fishing - 229
Cooking - 225
First Aid - 225

This is my first character that I've leveled the secondary skills up to 225. He has the highest armor class, by far than any of my other characters. He is also high in strength and stamina. I have him ranked as my number 2 character so far, with my Rogue number 1. When I play my Warrior next I will be working on leveling Blacksmithing.

Meet Dotsmadato, my Combat Rogue....

This is the character that I have leveled the furthest. I suppose he would be considered my main character. I really enjoy "slicing and dicing" through all the mobs with this guy. I have almost gone through all of the Deadmines solo, but wasn't able to defeat VanCleaf. I probably could now since I'm more experienced, but haven't tried in a long time. Here are his stats:
Level - 34
Strength - 52
Agility - 122
Stamina - 89
Intellect - 23
Spirit - 48
Armor - 859
Herbalism - 208
Mining - 100
Fishing - 90
Cooking - 141
First Aid - 189
As far as his skills are concerned, you can see that I use him as a gatherer, mostly with herbs. I did have him as high as 256 with skinning before I switched him over to mining a while back. I now use my Hunter as my leather farmer. I will have a lot to do regarding his secondary skills, but I won't be playing my Rogue (except for gathering herbs) until all my other characters are up to level 34, which could be a very long time at the pace I'm going. He is obvioulsy by far the highest Agility character I have. He also has the highest stamina. He is my most powerful player.

Meet Dotsmada the Retribution Paladin....

Dotsmada is my very first character. ThePaladin class is probably one of the most difficult to play so it was definitely a challenge when I first started. I haven't played my Paladin in probably several months now. He's been sitting at level 20 while I level the rest of my characters to 20. Here is his current stats:

Level - 20
Strength - 68
Agility - 36
Stamina - 59
Intellect - 34
Spirit - 37
Armor - 952
Engineering - 40
Mining - 59
Fishing - 1
Cooking - 85
First Aid - 64

As you can see, I will have a lot to level as far as his skills are concerned. He currently has the highest strength of all of my characters, just edging out my Warrior. He's a distant second in Armor behind my Warrior. He is my fourth most powerful player.

Introducing my characters v2

When I started my blog back in April I introduced my characters to you. I would like to once again introduce my 9 characters to you with a photo of each in the next several posts. Enjoy....

Daily Blog - August 28, 2009

I finished leveling my Warrior to 20 last night, and also got him his mount. Boy are they cheap now. Only 3.5 gold for training and less than a gold for the mount. Makes it less of an achievement, but not sure if I really care. I didn't have to go farm to raise money. Above is a picture of my Warrior, Dotsmadathre, on his new horse. Now I will move on to my Mage and leveling his secondary skills to 225 and to level 20.

Daily Blog - August 27, 2009

Leveled my Warrior up to 19 last night doing several delivery and collection quests between Redridge/Westfall/Stormwind/Darkshire. I think I have already gotten a hang of the battle rotation once again. It's not too difficult. I really enjoy having to push several buttons with the Warrior and having to time them right. Other characters you just mash one or two, which is pretty boring. The Warrior brings variety I think. Tonight I should be able to level my Warrior to 20 while doing my Redridge quests and then I'll need to buy a mount!

Daily Blog - August 26, 2009

I finished upgrading all my gear last night, now hopefully tonight I can go out and level my Warrior to 20. I can't remember exactly where I left off last time but I think I just started in Redridge. I enjoy leveling in Redridge because everything is so close together. Hopefully it won't take too long. I will have to get used to fighting with my Warrior once agains. That's one of the drawbacks of playing 9 characters at once I suppose.

Daily Blog - August 25, 2009

I was kicking myself last night for not running around Elwynn Forest the night before to put some copper on the auction house. So when I played last night I didn't have any money to purchase supplies so I could finish upgrading my Warrior's gear. I spent about an hour or so running around last night collecting about 120 copper bars to sell at the auction house. Hopefully they sell so I can have some gold to buy supplies tonight when I play.

Daily Blog - August 24, 2009

Was able to get my Warrior up to 225 in both Fishing and First Aid over the weekend. I was also able to upgrade some of my armor through the auction house. Now I'm trying to enchant my equipment and make potions and scrolls. I should be able to do that tonight.

Thursday, August 20, 2009

Daily Blog - August 20, 2009

Played about an hour or two last night and was able to level my cooking to 225 and my fishing to 199. I got tired of fishing so I started leveling first aid. I got up to 210 which is when I need to start using Runecloth. I have no idea where to farm Runecloth, but I'm guessing it's off of mobs that are higher than any of my characters. So that means I'll have to buy it from the auction house. I looked and there was some (don't remember how many) for about 5 gold. I didn't have enough gold at the time so I'm stuck at 210 for now.

I'll probably do some more fishing tonight if I get to play, but it now takes 5 fish to go up one skill point, so 26 skill points means I'll have to cast at least 130 times. That's if it stays at 5 all the way up to 225. This will take a long time. As for first aid, I'm going to have to go collect some copper so I can sell and have enough money to buy runecloth. I'll only need to buy 1-2 stacks though to get to 225 in first aid.

Daily Blog - August 19, 2009

I was able to get my Warrior to Stromgard Keep without dying last night. I also picked up some flight points in the Wetlands and Refuge Point so it won't take as long to get back there again. I got some recipes for cooking fish at the Wetlands (can't remember the name of the city) so I could cook the mithril trout that I would be catching. Unfortunately I can't learn it until I reach skill level 175. That means I will need to raise my cookings skill 25 points while cooking more bristle whisker catfish first. I sure wish I hadn't trashed all the ones I caught on my journey to fishing skill level 150. Oh well. I went ahead and fished for about 20 minutes at Stromgard and caught a bunch of trout and some catfish. Went back to Goldshire and cooked the catfish, but it only got me to skill level 164. I will go to Redridge to catch more catfish so I can hopefully get up to 175. Right now cooking catfish is green so hopefully it stays green until I reach 175 because I'm not sure what else I can cook to raise my level. Once I do reach 175, I think I should have enough trout to get to 225. If not then I will just go back to Stromgrade.

After all that I hope I'm at 225 on my fishing skill level, but I highly doubt it. I'm only at about 172 right now. My fishing skill is currently outleveling my cooking skill, but that will change quickly once I reach 175 in cooking. I will just give my left over fish to my Mage. That will give him a headstart on leveling his fishing and cooking.

So that's probably what I will be doing tonight if I get to play.

Daily Blog - August 18, 2009

Was finally able to finish upgrading my Shaman and level to 18. Finished up the Westfall quests (except Deadmines) and dinged 18 while doing the delivery quests for Redridge. It was actually pretty easy. I did not die once.

Next I start back on my Warrior and try to get him to level 20 so I can get my mount. Before then I would like to raise my secondary skills to 225, but I'm not sure how easy that will be. Fishing won't be difficult, but seems like it would take forever. I would like to catch fish that will level my cooking as well, but I'm not sure if I can take a level 18 character to a safe place to do this. I will have to do a little research online to find a good strategy. First Aid shouldn't be a problem.

Looking online it looks like I should go to Stromgarde Keep in the Arathi Highlands to catch mithril head trout. Unfortunately that's a level 30-40 area. Probably won't be too easy to get there with my Warrior. I suppose I have three options:

1. Try to get there with my level 18 warrior by avoiding all mobs (not sure if possible).
2. Take my level 34 Rogue there and catch the trout with him, send the fish to my Warrior and level his cooking that way. I will have to take my Warrior to Redridge and increase his fishing skill there. I would then just trash everything I catch.
3. Buy the trout from the auction house if they are available and if they are reasonably priced, and fish in Redridge to level the fishing skill.

Not sure which one I will choose.

Daily Blog - August 17, 2009

Was able to finish most of the equipment upgrades for my Shaman over the weekend, but ran out of money. I had to go out and collect copper bars to sell at the auction house so I can finish up. All I have left is 4 enchants on my equipment then I'll be able to go out there and get to level 18. Shouldn't be a problem.

I only played on Friday night as I went to bed relatively early on Saturday (about 10:30pm) and Sunday I spent all day making my 120" projection screen. I started at about 1 pm and finished around 9 or 10 that night. I was too tired to do much after that. The screen looks great though. If I was to buy one that was professionally made it would cost me $1,000 or more. I made my own for between $100-$200. All it takes is some 1 x 4's, some brackets and screws, some adhesive black flet, black-out cloth and a french cleat to hang the screen on the wall. I will take a picture and post it.

Maybe tonight I will see how my PC looks on my new screen by playing some WoW. We'll see.

Daily Blog - August 14, 2009

Continued to upgrade my gear last night and prepare for my journey to level 18 with my Shaman. Didn't get too far though. Takes a lot of time to gather the necessary herbs to make all the potions. I was able to make 10 Elixir's of Defense, 10 Elixir's of Lion's Strength and 10 Healing potions. I still have to do the following before I can set out on my journey:

Create 5 Lesser Mana Potions
Create 10 Scrolls of Strength
Create 10 Heavy Weightstones
Create 2 Medium Armor Kits
Create Major Glyph - Flametongue Weapon
Create 4 Small Silk bags
Enchant Weapon - Lesser Striking
Enchant Cloak - Lesser Protection
Enchant Chest - Minor Stats
Enchant Bracer - Lesser Stamina
Enchant Boots - Minor Stamina
Enchant Shield - Minor Stamina

So, as you can see, I have a lot of stuff to do before I begin leveling. It may take me the whole weekend just to prepare, if I get to play.

Thursday, August 13, 2009

Daily Blog - August 13, 2009

Played some the last couple of days. I am now working on my Shaman and upgrading my gear. I've bought better armor, jewelry and weapons where I could, now I'm making some potions and scrolls and that kind of thing. I'll also have to add some enchants to my equipment. That'll take some time as I'll either have to go get some supplies or make money to buy supplies from the auction house. I probably won't finish that tonight even if I do get to play extended hours. My 3 month old doesn't allow me to play much right now. It's hard playing with only one hand.

Monday, August 10, 2009

Daily Blog - August 10, 2009

Played some last night. I was able to level my Priest to 18. I will now start working with my Shaman and getting him up to level 18. He's my last alt that I need to level to 18. I will need to reorganize his action bars and get used to the new totem bar that they have now from patch 3.2. I currently only have fire and earth right now.

Daily Blog - August 7, 2009

Didn't play last night. It's hard playing WoW while holding a 2 month old so I just watched a horrible Children of the Corn part 7. I hope I'll get to play this weekend.

Didn't play again last night. Bought the game Sacred 2 for my PS3 and played that a little. It's ok so far.

Daily Blog - August 5, 2009

Haven't played the last couple of nights. I've watched movies instead. Finished Carnivale Season 2, watched Carrie and the Changeling. I'm excited about patch 3.2 though. Most of my characters are close to reaching 20 or have just passed it so now I'll have to go ahead and save up some money so I can get my mounts.

Daily Blog - August 3, 2009

Only played a little over the weekend. Got my Druid up to level 18 and that was about it. Played a little Oblivion on my Xbox 360 and also watched a couple of episodes of Carnivale Season 2 which is an HBO tv series that was on some years back. Not too bad of a show, just very dark. Once my wife starts playing again I think I want to use my Priest to heal her while she's leveling.

Daily Blog - July 31, 2009

Decided to take a night off last night and watch a couple of movies; The Boy in the Striped Pajamas and Backdraft. Both pretty good movies, just sad. I'll probably play tonight.

Thursday, July 30, 2009

Daily Blog - July 30, 2009

Played a few hours last night. Mostly just fished my way up to 150 for my Druid and also did some of the delivery quests in Redridge. That's about it. I'm halfway between level 17 and 18 right now so I've decided not to update any of my gear. Shouldn't have much trouble leveling to 18 tonight if I have time to play. After that it's off to my Preist.

Daily Blog - July 29, 2009

Had the electrician put in a electrical outlet and run my video wires through my ceiling yesterday. (only cost me $45!) I also mounted my projector to the ceiling and plugged everything in. My screen size for playing WoW is now at 10 feet and looks great. After all that was done my wife and I played for an hour or so. I used my Druid and we completed the Lighthouse quests in Westfall. I'm at level 17 now and moving over to Redridge to get to level 18. Hopefully I'll be able to do that tonight.

My wife got another character last night, which will make it her third. Her first was a Paladin, but she says it's too difficult and confusing to play. She's been using a Rogue which she thinks is easier. Now she rolled a Warrior which should also be easy. I'm thinking she may start becoming an Altoholic like myself.

Daily Blog - July 28, 2009

Was getting ready to play last night with my wife, but had problems with my system while using the projector. Everything automatically zoomed after I did the Function F8 on my dell laptop. Messed up everything when I tried to map my keys. Took a couple of hours to find a fix for it. It had to do with my microsoft mouse that I use at work. After that was finally fixed I added ctrl and shift to my extra Logitech mouse buttons and then redid my interface for my Druid and mapped my keys based on advice I found online. I use the esdf keys for movement and then my normal combat moves I use qwrt12345zxcv and then my healing goes to ctrl qwrt12345zxcv and I'll use shift qwrt12345zxcv for my forms. Everything else can be clicked with my mouse. Once I got all that taken care of it was already too late to play. So maybe tonight I will get around to actually playing.

Daily Blog - July 27, 2009

Only played a little bit over the weekend. My wife is level 16 with her Rogue so I played my level 16 Druid with her last night in Westfall. We're currently working on a strategy to fight against the Murlock magic users. We pulled in too many at one point and quickly died.

I bought myself a bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse this weekend from Logitech and am trying to get used to using it. It's somewhat backwards from what I have been using. I was just using my lap top touchpad for my mouse, using the arrow keys for movement and then assigned all my skills to letters on the keyboard. So I would move with my right and and select skills with my left hand. Now I'm changing it to moving with my left using the WASD keys and selecting skills with my right for my mouse. There's a lot of buttons on my mouse though so I think I can actually move with my mouse if I can figure it out. Then I can go back and map my skills to my keyboard and select them with my left hand. It seems faster to do it his way rather than moving my mouse around all the time. Maybe I'll do some research online today to see what other people do.

Daily Blog - July 23, 2009

Didn't play last night. Watched 12 Rounds which was another lame movie. Too much like Die Hard 3 or 4 (can't remember which). Anyway, I probably won't play again tonight because I'll be busy putting together my new component cabinet that will go under my projector screen in the game room. It's supposed to be delivered today. Sorry WoW....

I did go ahead and purchase a 50 ft monitor cable so it can run from the back of my receiver through the ceiling and to my projector for when I want to play WoW on the 92" screen. That way I will just place my laptop on the cabinet with my receiver, hook it into the monitor cable and then hook the sound to my receiver. I will need to buy a blue tooth keyboard and mouse so I can sit about 15 feet away on my couch and play. I already found a cool "Gamer's Desk" from a company called Lap Works.

If anyone actually reads my blog out there, can you suggest a good keyboard/mouse for WoW that is Bluetooth? I would rather not spend an arm and a leg for it though.....

Thanks!

Daily Blog - July 22, 2009

Didn't play again last night. Having too much fun watching movies on my new projector, although the one I watched last night really stunk. I don't recommend watching the supposed horror movie Brotherhood of Blood. Low budget and lame.

Daily Blog - July 20, 2009

Had a busy weekend so didn't get to play much WoW. I had a wedding to go to on Saturday and a Birthday to go to on Sunday. In between all that I was trying to get my new home theater room set up. I bought my first projector which is an Epson 1080P and also a new 7.1 home theater system from Onkyo. Hooked everything up and projected onto my wall in my game room (still waiting on my screen to be delivered) and everything looked and sounded fantastic. Last night I hooked my computer into the projector and my sound into my home theater system and it was freaking awesome!
The picture above is blurry because of the camera I used, but believe me it's extremely clear in person and it was about a 106 inch screen size, not to mention the sound was spectacular. It shook my house.
Anyway, I did level my Druid's first aid to 150, so now I will work on fishing.

Daily Blog - July 17, 2009

Quickly finished leveling up my Leatherworking for my Druid last night and also leveled my cooking to 180. I received a lot of gold for the things I sold the night before so I was able to buy medium leather and medium hide. I aslo started leveling my first aid. I think I'm around 80 right now, so I'll be able to quickly level that tonight if I play and then move on to fishing which will probably take a while.

Daily Blog - July 16, 2009

Played some last night but didn't get very far. I've still got 10 more skill points left before I reach 150 on Leatherworking. It takes a long time to do if you don't have a lot of gold or can't get easy access to medium leather. My Hunter dinged 20 while gathering the leather, but mainly he only gets light leather. I don't think I can take my Hunter to Worgen in the southern part of Duskwood yet. They always drop medium leather but I think their level is too high. Maybe in the mid-20's or so. I may be able to take one down, but if I got tag teamed I would be dead quick. Maybe I'll try it. I could also scavenge other people's kills if they aren't killing them for leather. Seems pretty cheap buy someone has to clean up.

Didn't play last night. Watched first 2 episodes of Entourage Season 5 instead. Maybe I'll play tonight.

Daily Blog - July 14, 2009

I leveled my Paladin's engineering up last night so I could make my Hunter some bullets. I made 1,200 bullets and sent them over to my Hunter. That's about as far as I got though. I went to bed early (around 10) last night. I've been staying up past midnight for the last several days and it's catching up to me so I decided to take a break. I also helped my wife a little bit. Tonight I should be able to take my Hunter back to Duskwood and kill more wolves for medium leather and finally get my Druid's Leatherworking up to 150.

One other thing - why doesn't the WoW armory ever update? It's so sporadic. Sometimes it'll update every day, other times it won't update for weeks. Pretty crappy if you ask me.

Daily Blog - July 13, 2009

Played several hours over the weekend but didn't get too much accomplished as far as my goals are concerned. I'm still working on leveling my leatherworking for my Druid, I think I'm around 135 or 140. Right now I need medium leather to level the profession and the auction house prices are too high (around 5 gold per stack). I remember back several months ago when I started playing in December 2008 I would sell leather on the auction house for much cheaper. I believe the server was fairly new back then. I would sell a stack of light leather for about 1 gold and be happy, now they go for 2-3 gold. Same with copper bars as well.

So now that it's too expensive to buy I have to go out there and collect it myself. I've been using my Hunter because I find it easier to kill mobs that are a few levels higher with him. I went to Duskwood to kill some of the wolves to get my leather. It takes a long time, and I somewhat regret giving up skinning for my level 34 Rogue. I could have easily gotten medium leather with him in Duskwood, but unfortunately I switched him to herbablism instead. Oh well, it's more difficult to do herbalism with a low level charcter than skinning so I'll just use my Hunter for now. While getting leather I actually got him up to level 19.

Also, in the past week my wife has started to play again so I've been helping her. She only had one character before (paladin) and she thought it was a difficult class to play, so I told her to be a Rogue. She's enjoyed it so far, but is having a little trouble in some areas. She is trying to master the technique of drawing only one mob at a time. The Rogue is a little squishy if you get too many mobs on you at once. I went ahead and helped her with some armor and weapons to make it a little easier.

Maybe tonight I'll be able to collect some more leather, but my Hunter has now run out of bullets (heavy shot) so I need to make some more with my engineer, but unfortunately my engineer is only around level 40 or so. So I'm working on leveling my Paladin's engineering profession so he can make heavy shot for my Hunter.

It sure is slow going leveling all my alts.

Daily Blog - July 10, 2009

Finished getting my Hunter to level 18 last night. Did the Lighthouse quests and then several of the delivery quests in Lakeshire. Got the Multi-Shot skill which I believe is an essential skill for a Hunter's arsenal. Of course, I won't get to use it for a while as now I've moved on to Dotsmadasix, my Druid. I need to upgrade leatherworking for my Druid which won't take much time considering I'm already at 115. My Hunter is a skinner so maybe I'll take him out to Redridge and kill some of the beasts over there that are part of my quests anyways. I can try out my new skill and get some leather for my Druid. That's a good idea. My goal this weekend is to get my Druid through level 18 and then start on my Priest. I actually enjoy playing my Priest.

Daily Blog - July 9, 2009

Played a few hours last night and finished gearing up my Hunter. He's now ready to get to level 18. Tonight I will be in Westfall doing the boring Lighthouse quests and probably do some more quests in Redridge before I make it to 18. Probably won't take that long because my Hunter is stacked. I'll be using my tank bear as my pet. After I'm done with my Hunter I'll move on to my Druid which is probably one of my least favorite characters. When he's in his bear form it just seems so limited, but when in his normal form he's pretty weak. I know that there are some better forms latter on though, so I'll keep plowing through the levels.

Maybe by the time patch 3.2 comes out I'll have all my alts to level 20. If I do then I'll be able to buy a mount for all of them (if I have the gold ,of course). I heard that they are lowering the level requirement from 30 to 20. Not so sure if I like them lowering the requirement all the time, but I suppose since all my characters are around 20 it really helps me out. Now if my characters all just reached 30, I would be kinda pissed off.

Daily Blog - July 8, 2009

Played about 3 hours last night and got alot accomplished with my Hunter. Leveled fishing and first aid to 150 and also upgraded my weapons and armor. Now it's time to enchant those new items and also create potions, scrolls and glyphs. That's what I'll probably be working on the next couple of days. Hopefully I can do it in one night, but I may run out of money and have to either make more money or go farming which takes more time.

Daily Blog - July 7, 2009

Played a few hours last night and got a lot accomplished. Finally raised my Jewelcrafting to 155 for my Hunter and also raised my cooking to 150. I received about 50 gold from my Sunday auctions so was able to buy some stones to easily attain skill level 155. I had a bunch of raw fish already so it took no time to level cooking to 150. Now going through the tedious process of raising my fishing skill to 150. Right now it is at 25 so I have a ways to go.

So it looks like I'll be doing a lot of fishing tonight.

Daily Blog - July 6, 2009

Well I played probably around 12 hours over the three day weekend and still have not got my Hunter's Jewelcrafting profession to 150 (actually can get it to 155). I'm currently at 143, which is only 43 points higher than before the weekend. It takes a lot of money to level this profession, so I end up putting things on the auction house (copper, stone, dusts, everything possible) to make money. I'll make about 10 gold and then spend it to raise it by a couple of points. I'm now having to buy jades which seem to be in short supply and too difficult to obtain myself. I cannot currently get iron ore myself to prospect the jades, which has about a 1 out of 3 chance of happening anyways. So I'll wait on the auction house and buy one for about 3-4 gold apiece.

To speed up the process I went ahead and got rid of my skinning profession for my lvl 34 Rogue which was at around 250 and picked up mining. I leveled that up to 99 last night. I'm hoping that I'll be able to locate iron nodes and collect it myself and possibly also come across some of my own jade stones. I hope the iron nodes aren't in areas that are too high for my Rogue.

Painful process, this leveling of Jewelcrafting. Not sure why it's so much worse than all the other professions. The items that you are creating could not even be used by the player making them most of the time. Once you reach level 20 and can become and expert (or whatever it's called) there isn't anything you could actually use until your in your upper 20's or 30's. And you would never be able to collect the items. You would have to be at a much higher level to collect the items you need to make the jewels.

Oh well, I'll continue leveling my Rogue's mining tonight and hopefully I'll eventually find some iron nodes or find some cheap jades at the auction house.

Daily Blog - July 2, 2009

Played a few hours again last night. Quickly leveled my Warlock to 18 in Redridge and got my new skills. I am now working on my Hunter and trying to level his Jewelcrafting. It looks like it's going to be expensive. I was able to get to 100 before it got too late and plus I ran out of money again. I had my Mage sell off all his dusts and shards at the auction house. Hopefully I'll have a lot of money in my mail box tonight. I have to buy a lot of bronze or silver bars to level up quickly. Looks like pretty soon I'll be needing iron and gold bars as well. I'm sure those costs an arm and a leg. This looks like it's going to be a long process. Oh well, the things I can create look pretty helful although they are for levels that look much higher than most of my characters.

Daily Blog - July 1, 2009

Played a few hours last night and got a lot accomplished. Got about 27 gold from selling my copper and rocks the previous day so was easily able to finish gearing up my Warlock for his quest to level 18. Once I was geared up I went to Westfall and finished up the rest of the quests in the area which was the Defias quests up until escorting the traitor and then the lighthouse quests. I really hate Murlocs. I only died once when I was trying to get back to the lighthouse and turn in my final quest. I was tired of skirting around all the murlocs and got too close to a bunch of them. They froze me and took me and my minion. The beach is packed with mobs and it is difficult to get just one at a time and if you're not careful you'll net 3 or 4 on you and that's certain death if you're only level 16.

Anyway, I was about halfway between level 17 and 18 and it was about 12:30 am so I had to shut it down for the night. I should be able to play tonight and go over to Redridge and start questing to get to level 18. Then I'll start up my Hunter, Dotsmadanin, again and go through leveling everything up for him. I'm not too excited about leveling cooking, first aid and fishing, but I am excited about leveling jewelcrafting. Right now I'm only at level 69 so I'm interested to see what new items I'll learn on the way to 150 and be able to outfit all my alts with their new rings and whatnot.

Daily Blog - June 30, 2009

Played for a couple of hours last night. Ran around Elwynn forest to level up my mining for my Warlock and sold the copper bars in the auction house as I ran out of money which I was using to buy supplies so I can do my enchants. Right now I'm done enchanting my equipment so my next step is to make some Elixirs. My Priest is my alchemist but he doesn't have all the herbs to create the Elixirs my Warlock needs and he's too low of a level to gather (16) so I have to purchase them from the auction house or have my Rogue (lvl 34) go collect. It takes to much time for my Rogue to get them, so I've decided to just buy them. Their expensive and I've run out of gold so that's why I'm selling my copper bars at the auction house. They're going for 4-5 gold per stack so that's pretty nice and I think I put about 4 or 5 stacks out there. Hopefully they've all sold when I start playing tonight, then I should have plenty of money to finish uprgrading my gear for my Warlock. I will also need to make some scrolls with my Mage and probably a couple of armor kits. Here's what I need to do:

Make 4 Elixirs of Wisdom
Make 8 Scrolls of Spirit II
Make 2 Medium Armor Kits
Make Major Glyph of Corruption
Make Minor Glyph Drain Soul

After all this then I can level my Warlock up to 18.

Daily Blog - June 29, 2009

Played a little bit over the weekend. Only had a chance to level my first aid to 150 and buy new gear for my Warlock from the auction house. Now I'm in the process of enchanting my new gear and getting all the potions and whatnot that I need so my Warlock will be ready to level up to 18. I recently switched one of my professions for my Warlock to mining, so I'm currently running around Elwynn Forest tryign to raise my mining level a little. Maybe I'll just make one or two trips. Not too much. Not sure if I'll be able to play tonight. It depends on if the newborn lets me put him down. It's hard to play WoW while holding a baby.

Haven't blogged in a couple of weeks because I had my third kid and have been pretty busy. Took more than 2 weeks off of work but didn't play a bit of WoW. I think I may be burned out on it. I won't cancel my subscription yet though. I started playing some games on Gametap like Heroes of Might and Magic. Those are pretty fun.

Daily Blog - May 11, 2009

Didn't play as much as I thought I would this weekend. Worked on cleaning out the garage on Saturday and it was mother's day on Sunday so went with the wife to see Star Trek (pretty good movie btw) and watched the Rockets beat up on the Lakers. I only played a little on Friday night and that time was spent leveling up my fishing for my Warlock, which wasn't by much. I think I might have gotten it up to 95, so I have a ways to go. Another player just gave me a parrot and 3 gold for nothing which was really cool. This was my first pet for any of my characters. Haven't really tried to get pets before. Goes to show you, some people in WoW are really nice. Maybe I'll play a little tonight.

Daily Blog - April 8, 2009

Sorry, I haven't blogged the last couple of days, I've been fighting a cold. I stayed home from work the last couple of days so I played a little WoW, but not too much. Just didn't feel like doing much. One thing I would like to mention before I talk about WoW is:

I HATE KOBE BRYANT

This guy is an arrogant pompous ass! Anything and everything he does is self-serving.

Had to get that off my chest. Anyway, over the past couple of days I finished working on my Mage. I upgraded my armor added enchants, created scrolls and elixirs and went out and leveled my Mage to 18 through the Lighthouse quests in Westfall and also some delivery/collection quests in Redridge. My Frost Mage is pretty easy to use in combat, but I did die a couple of times. When a couple of Murlocks my level or higher get a hold of me then I start having some trouble. Especially when they can use frost to stop me in my tracks as well.

After leveling my Mage to 18 I moved on to Dotsmadafiv, my Demonology Warlock. I upgraded my cooking to 150 pretty quick since I had a lot of fish caught from my other characters. I am currently working on leveling fishing to 150 and then will also work on First Aid. My Warlock is a tailor, but I have already increased that skill to 150.

Should play quite a bit this weekend and should have another blog entry on Monday. Go
Rockets!!!!

Tuesday, May 5, 2009

Daily Blog - May 5, 2009

Played a little bit last night before the Rockets whupped up on the Lakers. Here's what I did:
  • My Mage created a Mytic Tome for his off-hand.
  • Looked at the auction house for a better cloak, but the one I had was good enough.
  • Looked at the auction house for shoulder armor, but the one I had was good enough.

That's it. Oh and the day before I put a lot of my extra herbs for sale and ended up getting almost 100 gold! That's the first time I've had that much money. Unfortunatley, now I'm buying more materials from the auction house again. Some of which I probably sold in the first place. Oh well.....

The next thing I want to do for my Mage is upgrade my chest armor and enchant with "Mana" and then also upgrade my bracers and enchant with "lesser intellect."

I may get to that tonight or I may watch some of the other basketball games. We'll see....

Daily Blog - May 4, 2009

Got a lot accomplished this weekend with my Mage. My Rogue continued leveling up herbalism and collected flowers for my Mage's inscription. I was planning on going to Stranglethorn Vale to get the necessary herbs but the mobs in that area were too high for my Rogue so I went to the Wetlands instead. Much easier. So I was able to level my inscription to 150. I was also able to level fishing and first aid to 150 as well. Now I'm going through the process of updating my gear for my Mage so I can start leveling to 18. I've gotten a new dagger and enchanted it to add + 2 dmg. I also just finished making some wizard oil to apply to my dagger. BTW, it really sucks how that doesn't stack. Why is that? Sharpening stones stack, why can't wizard's oil?

Next I'll be creating on off-hand item "mystic tome" and then looking for better armor.

I should be able to get some time in before the Rockets and Lakers game tonight.

PS - while I was in Stranglethorn Vale I did level my Rogue to 34.

Daily Blog - May 1, 2009

Played a couple hours last night, before and after a Rockets win. I switched out mining for herbalism for my level 33 Rogue and got to work leveling his herbalism skill. Ran around Elwynn Forest a couple of times to get my skill up to 70, then went over to the Barrens to get my skill up to 130. I think I'm up to 110 to 115 right now. I wish the Armory would update on the WoW website so I can see exactly what my level is. For some reason it hasn't updated since April 21st. I will continue running around the Barrens until I get to skill level 130, then it's off to Stonetalon Mts to get up to 170. After that I can finally go to Stranglethorn Vale and get the necessary herbs I need to level up inscription for my Mage. It will be rough considering the area is levels 30-45 and I'm only 33. I'll just have to be careful and take it slow.

This is the first time I've been in the Barrens and it's pretty impressive with the giraffes and those huge beasts that look like Rhinos (don't remember their names). I guess it shows how little I've explored in this game. The Barrens is soooo huge! It's strange not seeing any other player for an hour. I was all by myself out there collecting flowers which was nice to not have any competition. What a beautiful game!

Daily Blog - April 30, 2009 Part 2

I've decided that I will gather my own herbs to level up my inscription to 150, instead of buying flowers from the auction house. In order to do this though I will need my level 33 Rogue to start picking flowers. I'm going to drop mining and get the herbalism profession. Even with my Rogue though, I'll eventually be venturing into territory that has mobs that are a little higher than myself (Stranglethorn Vale). I suppose I'll just have to be carefull. Also, maybe I'll actually be able to raise my Rogue's levels. It's been awhile since I've been in an area where killing things actually gave my Rogue experience. This will be another thing that probably takes a long time. I'm just glad my Rogue has a horse so I can get around much faster. This game takes forever, but that's why I love it!

Daily Blog - April 30, 2009

I raised my enchanting skill to 150 last night for my Mage. In the process of doing that, I also raised my Druid' leather working to 106 and my Warlock's tailoring to 149. It's really cheap to make items through those two professions and then disenchant them. Now I move on to raising my inscription profession to 150. Currently it's at 103. This looks like it's going to be the most expensive thing to do as I need a lot of flowers to make pigments. The flowers I need now are in areas that are too high of a level to go collect with any of my characters that currently have herbalism. That leaves me with going to the auction house. When I saw the prices to make lion's ink my jaw dropped. I think the lowest price I saw was 35s per flower, which would mean I would have to fork over at least 1g 75s just to make 1-2 of the necessary pigments. I'm hoping that once I finally do this and create a major glyph that I can sell it for some type of profit. I briefly viewed the prices of some of the glyphs on the auction house and did notice that they were going for pretty hefty prices. So maybe once I get started things will move along a little easier. I see the high prices, but I just wonder if they actually sell.....

The Rockets play tonight so I won't get much playing time in, but hopefully I can continue leveling my inscription towards 150.

Daily Blog - April 29, 2009

Turned in my Lighthouse quests for my Warrior and finally dinged level 18.

So then I moved on to my Mage who is currently level 16. My current goals for my mage:

1. Level enchanting to 150 (currently 131)
2. Level inscription to 150 (currently 101)
3. Level fishing to 150 (currently 1)
4. Level first aid to 150 (currently 79)
5. Update Mage's gear
6. Level Mage to 18

I actually worked on leveling my enchanting yesterday for a couple of hours. It sure is expensive! I went out to the auction house to buy items to disenchant which I suppose wasn't too expensive. I only bought low level items, all less than 30 silver. I also figured out I can make embossed leather gloves with my Druid which only cost 3 light leather and send it to my Mage to disenchant. This was much less expensive. I probably bought over 100 light leather from the auction house for only a few gold and made a crap load of these gloves and also leveled my leather working for my Druid in the process. This sounds like a pretty good money making strategy since the dusts go for pretty good money at the auction house and light leather is generally pretty cheap.

The only bad thing is that I will usually enchant vellums and try and sell them at the auction house. It doesn't seem like many people care for lower level enchants so I don't make any money off of them.

Hopefully I'll be able to finish leveling my enchanting this evening.

Daily Blog - April 28, 2009

Quested with my Warrior for an hour or so and still haven't dinged level 18 yet. Working on the 3 light house quests. I've finished the flask of oil and the old murloc quest (not sure if that's the actual name) and now working on the one that has you killing all sorts of murlocs. Man does that one take a long time. You have to go all the way up the coast to get them all. All I have left is the coast runner which is the lowest level. Died several times so far as I got caught up with too many murlocs at once. I miss my Rogue where I can just dissapear and run away to avoid getting killed and losing all my buffs.

I may have some time tonight before the Rockets play to get to level 18.

Daily Blog - April 27, 2009

Played my Warrior over the weekend and got my first aid up to 150 so I'm done with leveling my secondary skills, although I did notice that I can actually go up to 225 now... I think that was a change with patch 3.1. I thought you had to be level 20 to be able to get your skill higher than 150. Oh well, I'm not going to spend too much time trying to level up my secondary skills to 225 right now. My next step was to buy some upgraded weapons/armor from the auction house. Most of my stuff was already pretty good so I didn't have to spend much money here. My next step is to level my Warrior to 18 (he is currently at 16). I did some quests in Westfall and a couple of Blacksmithing quests that had me journying from Loch Modan to Redridge and I am now at level 17. I've tried my new fighting technique for the Warrior and it has worked well. I'm slicing and dicing through all the mobs.

This is the way I fight with my Warrior:
Charge
Battle Shout (if it's not up already)
Rend (DOT)
Revenge
Sunder Armor
Rend again if the mob is still alive (usually it is not)

I'm not that great at fighting multiple mobs but it did happen on occasion. Usually I would do basically the same thing but I would throw in a Thunderclap and Shield Block. I died once when a couple of mobs spawned during a fight with two others (I hate when that happens).

I've pretty much completed all the quests in Westfall, except for the Deadmines and the Lighthouse quests. I'm not sure if I can do the Deadmines quests yet. I know I can't go into the instance at level 16, but I think I would also have problems just going into the starting area as well. I may try it. Most likely I'll go over to the lighthouse and get those quests. That'll probably put me at level 18.

Once I get to level 18, I'll go get my new skills and then move on to my next character, Dotsmadafor, who is my Human Frost Mage.

I should be able to play some tonight since the Rockets aren't on. Go Rockets!

Daily Blog - April 24, 2009

Played a little last night and got my Warrior's fishing skill up to 150. Was about to work on my first aid, but the wool cloth was too expensive at the auction house. I don't have 1 gold to my name right now so I put some stuff up for auction. I got a new mod yesterday; auctionlite. Pretty nice. The price it suggests undercuts the lowest price currently out there which isn't very good. I'm sure there's a way to adjust this, but I haven't looked at that closely. I just tweeked the price myself. Hopefully tonight I'll have a little more money to buy wool cloth or I may decided to save my money and go out a farm with my level 33 Rogue.

Trying to figure out how to get my camera to zoom out further than the default. I found a script and a console command online that is supposed to do it. I tried both and neither worked. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. I'm still a nb when it comes to that type of stuff.

I'll probably only play a little tonight since the Rockets are playing. Hopefully they win!

Daily Blog - April 23, 2009

Played my Warrior (Dotsmadathre) for an hour or so last night. Leveled my blacksmithing to the current max (150) and also got my fishing to around 115 in Redridge. Will probably do the same tonight. I should be able to level my fishing to 150 and then work on my first aid which is currently at 87. I think I'm pretty low on gold for all my characters so I'll probably just have my Rogue farm wool over in Westfall, near Dagger Hills. I doubt I'll be able to accomplish both of those goals tonight though. It's slow going.....

Daily Blog - April 22, 2009

Only got in about 30 minutes of paytime before watching a disapointing Rockets game. Currently trying to level my blacksmithing up to 150 for my Warrior. Went to buy copper bars at the auction house but the price was a rediculous 4-5 gold per stack. I may go as high as 1-2 gold per stack but 5 is outrageous. Anyway, I had to go out and crack some rocks with my Rogue. Got quite a bit in Westfall and sent it to my Warrior. That's where I stopped.

Oh yeah, had to spend more time redistributing my talent points for the second time this week. Getting a little anoying....

There are no basketball games to watch tonight so maybe I'll play some more. Shouldn't take too long to level my blacksmithing from 142 to 150. Then I'll level my fishing to 150 which will take some time since I'm only at 1 right now.

Daily Blog - April 21, 2009

What I would like to do is give a short journal entry every day on what I did the previous day for my characters. I admit now that I won't be able to do this every day. Maybe I'll skip weekends I don't know.

Since patch 3.1 I've only played sparingly. Things I have done are re-allocating my talent points since they were taken away and setting up my action bars since they were messed up with the new patch. I also have looked at a few characters so far to see if there were any new skills that I could acquire. I found one for my Paladin that I could not buy before the patch.

I am currently in the process of leveling up my secondary skills as high as possible. Sounds boring, I know, but that's the way I like to do things. Very systematic. I've already leveled up fishing, cooking and first aid up to 150 for my Priest and Shaman and currently I'm working on my Warrior. I've leveled up my cooking to 150 already. I am also going to level up blacksmithing to 150, but it is already up to 142, so it shouldn't take long. Usually I'll try to buy supplies form the auction house to level up if the prices are reasonable. If not then I will usually take my level 33 Rogue and start gathering the items I need.

After I level my secondary skills and blacksmithing to 150 I will then level my Warrior to 18. I'm interested to see if the information I received online on how to use the different skills will help me. Before I was doing it totally wrong and I didn't dominate mobs like I thought I should.

Probably won't play tonight though since my Rockets are playing in the NBA playoffs. Oh well, sometimes WoW has to wait.

Introduction - Dotsmadanin

Dotsmadanin is my Drasnein Beastmaster Hunter. He is level 16 and his professions are Jewelcrafting and skinning. It really stinks to have to go all the way back to the Drasnein starting location to level up Jewelcrafting, but oh well.

Introduction - Dotsmadaeit

Dotsmadaeit is my Drasnien Enchancement Shaman. He is level 16 and is a gatherer like my Rogue. He mines and picks flowers. Not a very good combination considering you need to locate both on your map. I think I'll probably change mining to skinning at some point. A lot of my characters already crack rocks. I've also already used my other professions and I think it's pointless to have two blacksmiths or leatherworkers, etc.

Introduction - Dotsamdasev

Dotsmadasev is my Human Shadow Priest. He is also currently level 16 and professions are Alchemy and Herbalism. Alchemy is probably the most boring profession. Not enough recipes. For some reason I can't stand picking flowers either. I much rather skin and beat on rocks for some reason. At first I thought my Priest was one of the weakest characters I had and I had a lot of trouble trying to level up. After doing a little research and figuring out how to use my skills in battle the Priest became my most entertaining player to play.

Introduction - Dotsmadasix

Dotsmadasix is my Night Elf Balance Druid. He is currently level 16 and is a leather worker and skinner. Right now he's one of my least favorite characters. Turning into a bear isn't really that interesting. Maybe the other animals will be better once I get to a higher level.

Introduction - Dotsmadafiv

Dotsmadafiv is my Human Demonology Warlock. He is currently level 16 and his professions are tailoring and skinning.

Introduction - Dotsmadafor

Dotsmadafor is my Human Frost Mage. He is currently level 16 and is my Enchanter and Inscripter.

Introduction - Dotsmadathre

Dotsmadathre is my Human Protection Warrior. He is level 16 and his profession is Blacksmithing/Mining. The Warrior so far seems to be difficult to get used to, as far as combat is concerned. Probably just because I don't play him as much and have not gotten used to all of his skills. I've recently found information online that provided a good gameplan on combat and will use it once I start playing my Warrior again. It looked complicated but will probably be fun once I get a hang of it.

(You may have noticed that I've used all humans so far. That's because I'm used to the starting area and figure I could level up faster. It does get somewhat boring, but each character is unique so it adds a little flavor. It's also fun to see which class is the easiest to fight with.)

Introduction - Dotsmadato

Dotsmadato is my Human Combat Rogue. He is currently level 33 and is my favorite character to play so far. He's a gatherer (mining/skinning) and makes a lot of money for my other characters in the auction house.

Introduction - Dotsmada

First of all, I've named all my characters Dotsmada with each subsequent character Dotsmadato, Dotsmadathre, etc. I know it's not very creative, but it's easy for me to keep up with them this way.

Dotsmada is my first character that I created. It is a human Retribution Paladin and he is currently at level 20. His professions are Engineering and Mining.

First Post - (General) April 21, 2009

I'm creating a blog to chronicle my adventures in the greatest game ever made, World of Warcraft. I purchased WoW back in December of 2008 and have been playing pretty regularly since then. I can't play 8 hours a day as I do have a job and a family to take care of, but I try to play when I get a chance. Right now the NBA playoffs are on so I have not played much. I have been trying to find a blog out there that gives me a daily (or almost daily) update of their WoW characters. I think it would be fun to follow along. There are probably a lot out there, but I just don't know how to find them. Anyways, I decided to one for myself.

I currently play in the realm Fizzcrank and have 9 characters from each class, all aliance. I don't have a level 55 character yet so I can't make a Death Knight. I really enjoy playing every class since they are all unique, that's why I created all 9, all with pretty much different professions. I will introduce my characters in my next several posts.
